– According to the Wrestling Observer…Spike TV officials were very impressed with Paul Heyman after their recent conference call together. Heyman’s future with TNA is still up in the air but Spike executives at the recent iMPACT tapings talked about how they would like to see Heyman have creative control of the company.

Heyman continues to tell people that he can’t join TNA unless they are willing to make the major changes that are needed and if he gets the power needed to make those changes. Heyman is saying right now that he’s going forward with the idea that nothing is going to come of his talks with TNA.

– On Twitter, former WWE performer Gene Snitsky is promoting a fan initiated online petition pushing TNA Wrestling officials to sign him. The petition in question can be reached at http://www.petitiononline.com/snitsky1/ Since departing from World Wrestling Entertainment in 2008, Snitsky has been seeking a career in acting. He will star in the sequel to the critically panned 1966 film Manos: The Hands of Fate, Manos: The Search For Valley Lodge.

– TNA has signed Northeast independent wrestler Rob Eckos. Eckos had a tryout match against Bobby Fish at the last TNA iMPACT! taping. Eckos most noteworthy run was in the old 3PW promotion, teaming with Matt Striker.

– Tammy Sytch (a/k/a Sunny), who performed for Extreme Championship Wrestling in the late 1990s, commented on rumors concerning a possible appearance at TNA Wrestling’s HardCORE Justice pay-per-view event this Sunday. She wrote on her Facebook account: “Before everyone starts plastering my wall with questions or comments regarding my appearance on the TNA PPV: I will not be on it, nor have I been contacted by anyone there. Like Ive said before, don’t believe anything you read on websites.”

– Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn and Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven with Mick Foley as the guest ref. are set for HardCORE Justice.

– TNA HardCORE Justice is expected to have at least one Three-Way Dance.

– While the following names have not yet been publicly announced by TNA Wrestling for Sunday’s HardCORE Justice pay-per-view event, they have been independently confirmed: Mike Bucci (a/k/a Nova), Joel Gertner, referee John Finnegan, referee Mike Kehner and ring announcer Stephen DeAngelis. Talent officially announced for the show are as follows: Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Team 3D, Jerry Lynn, Mick Foley, Taz, The Sandman, Axl Rotten, Rhino, Balls Mahoney, Raven, CW Anderson, The FBI (Little Guido, Tony Mamaluke and Sal E. Graziano), Brother Runt, 2 Cold Scorpio, Al Snow, Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger.

– TNA Wrestling is using Ronnie Lang’s Atlas Security to handle security for Sunday’s HardCORE Justice pay-per-view event. Atlas Security was the security company Extreme Championship Wrestling used for shows held at The Arena in Philadelphia.

– Next week’s special episode of TNA iMPACT!, titled TNA The Whole F*N Show! will feature match-ups initially pegged for Sunday’s pay-per-view event. One of the matches advertised for iMPACT! is Jeff Hardy’s “Open Challenge.” The open challenge is expected to be met by a wrestler let go by World Wrestling Entertainment earlier this year. That person has asked that we keep his name a secret for now, but is widely believed to be Gregory “Hurricane” Helms, long time friend of Jeff Hardy.
