– The duo known as Team 3D, Brother Ray and Brother Devon, may have already made their final appearances with TNA Wrestling as their contracts are set to expire this week.

Though the team was not written into this week’s shows, Brother Ray is backstage at today’s television taping working as a producer. Meanwhile, it is unclear whether Devon is on hand for the event.

It is said that the two sides are negotiating but a deal is not close to being reached.

Team 3D’s last appearance with the organization took place on Thursday’s episode of ReACTION as they were featured in a segment concerning the beating Fortune laid on EV2.0 the previous week on iMPACT!.

Team 3D joined TNA in late 2005, and won both the NWA and then TNA tag team titles during their time with the company. Their last appearance on TV for the company was last week’s promo on TNA Reaction.

– Former WWE Diva Katie Lea Burchill worked a dark match prior to tonight’s iMPACT! taping from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Working under the name Kat Larue, the former WWE performer lost to Madison Rayne. Along with six other wrestlers, she was released from her WWE contract on April 22, 2010. Her ninety no-compete clause had recently expired.

– California based women’s wrestler Christina Von Eerie is scheduled for a tryout match at this week’s set of TNA iMPACT! tapings. She has worked in Mexico for the past year with Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA).

– Kurt Angle announced on his Twitter account that he has landed two movies roles — Death from Above and Madman Marz.

– The TNA HardCORE Justice PPV will be released on DVD on November 2nd. The DVD will include Q&A Session with Tommy Dreamer and Mick Foley as an extra. They may also include special backstage interviews as well.

– The Slammiversary 2010 DVD will be released tomorrow on DVD.

– The TNA Best of the Asylum Volume 1 DVD will be released on September 21st.

– Rosie Lottalove’s wrestling ability was a source of contention amongst some in the TNA locker room as they felt she and fellow Team 3D Wrestling Academy students Rob Terry and Jesse Neal were not ready to be featured on national television and should still be training.

– TNA Knockout Velvet Sky is auctioning off a custom made top and bottom she wore during a match at last year’s Turning Point pay-per-view. To view the auction, go to http://bit.ly/9MeRII

– The Miami Herald has an interview up with Simon Diamond where he talks about the TNA Hardcore Justice PPV, saying he only worked it so he could team with his partner Johnny Swinger one last time and because he was moved by Tommy Dreamer’s passion for the show. Here’s what he said about the criticisms of the show: “If people bought that pay-per-view expecting to see great wrestling, then they were delusional. The guys are older. The guys are heavier. The body is not meant to do what it is that we do to it. Of course, there’s going to be a decline in the wrestling, but it was nostalgia. I go see the Yankees Old Timers’ Day all the time, and I go to see my hero Reggie Jackson. You know what? Reggie Jackson’s probably shrunk about three inches since his playing days. He still looks good physically. He’s bald, and he doesn’t look like the Reggie Jackson I grew up with, but it doesn’t matter to me. He’s still Reggie Jackson. Now, he’s not out there playing baseball and embarrassing himself, but the match I had was for entertainment purposes only like you see on the pro football betting cards you buy. At the bottom it says, `for entertainment purposes only,’ and that’s exactly what that match was about. If people are going to sit there and say, `the wrestling this and the wrestling that,’ you are delusional, and you’re the person listening to Rush as opposed to going to see KISS live.’ Everyone did a good job. The main thing was everyone was really having fun, really having fun,” he said. “That’s what it was about. It was about going out there and having fun. We weren’t digging ditches. We weren’t delivering the mail, which is a good job. We weren’t sitting behind a desk. We weren’t wearing a tie. We were having fun, and that’s what it was all about.”– TNA has removed he following talent from their roster page: Daniels, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, ODB and Rosie Lottalove.

– RVD and Homicide are both being advertised for TNA’s Northeast house shows in New York City and Philadelphia. The cards have likely not been updated.
