– Madison Rayne debuted a new haircolor (pictured Left) at a recent house show, appears she has gone brunette with her new biker-chick look.

– Exciting news for TNA Fans in Nashville, as TNA announced on their FaceBook page that:

The Asylum Years DVD comes out Tuesday, and as a special surprise to our Nashville fans we’re happy to announce that TNA Wrestling is coming back to the Asylum at the Nashville Fairgrounds for a huge one-night live event on Friday, November 12! Complete ticket details coming this week!

Personally a return to the Asylum is long over due. In fact i think they should look at holding Slammiversary there, perhaps on the tenth anniversary to mark the occasion and how far the promotion has come since those early days.

– TNA are to hold try-out event for prospective talent – the following is from TNAWrestling.com:

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION (TNA) WRESTLING SUPERSTARS TO LEAD ‘TNA GUT CHECK’ WORKSHOP FOR PRO WRESTLING HOPEFULS

Think you’ve got what it takes to become the next Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling superstar? Then it’s time for a “Gut Check.” The next “TNA Gut Check” workshop will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Saginaw, Michigan.

– According to PWTorch, there is backstage heat on D’Angelo Dinero. According to sources within WWE, one of the reasons he was let go from the company two years ago was because many felt he let his push on the ECW brand get to his head. He was known to refer to himself in third person as “The Black Pope” once he achieved notoriety and it rubbed some people the wrong way. He has been exhibiting similar behavior in TNA as of late, which has some of his colleagues complaining. He didn’t do himself any favors by veering off script and cutting a 15 minute promo at a recent live event. Producer D-Lo Brown scolded him afterwards, with a number of wrestlers rolling their eyes at Dinero.

I’d be wary of taking any of this at face value though, the dirt sheets have a tendency to over-exaggerated things and theres no guarantee as to the reliability of this “source” or their agenda in releasing such tidbits of information.

– If you missed the vignettes on this weeks iMPACT! – the new tag-team “Shore” are set to debut on the live iMPACT! heading into Bound For Glory, the team is believed to consist of Robby G (Rob Eckos) and Cookie (Becky Bayless) in a take off of wildly popular Jersey Shore characters – Mike “The Situation” and Snookie.

– TNA Wrestling posted the following on their official website:

TNA Wrestling was contact by Kurt Angle in regards to his match scheduled for the TNA live event in Oklahoma City this Thursday, September 23. Kurt was originally scheduled to face AJ Styles, but had the following to say, “AJ is truly one of the greatest wrestlers in the world today and he is someone I have faced man times, but on the road to Bound for Glory, less than 3 weeks before I put my career on the line in an attempt to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, I want Ric Flair! He always says to be the man, you’ve got to beat the man, well Ric, let’s see what you got.” TNA quickly contacted Flair to see what his thoughts were and Flair has accepted.

A source close to the situation with Paul Heyman and TNA describe things as “ice cold.”
Apparently Heyman did pitch a new long term approach to Spike, but TNA President Dixie Carter is unwilling to implement the changes Heyman deem as necessary, nor give him the “Dana White role” (part owner) Heyman has wanted — which would give him the final say on all facets of the business including hirings and firings.

– The September 16th edition of TNA iMPACT! scored a 1.2 cable rating 1,472,000 viewers.

– The September 16th edition of TNA ReAction scored a .71 (0.7) cable rating with 939,000 viewers.

Both sets of figures are up on last weeks, especially ReAction which drew great numbers for that late timeslot, Spike are said to be very pleased.
