Top Star ‘Expected To Be Gone’ From TNA?

According to the Wrestling Observer, Sting is “expected to be gone” from TNA Wrestling following this week’s set of television tapings, which were completed yesterday in Orlando, Florida.  The multi-time champion is limited by an injury to his shoulder and has not signed a new contract, so he’s only committed to the organization until the end of the year. There was talk this week that he would be taking time off from this point forward.

Ray’s Analysis: Whilst many are speculating that this will see Sting inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in Atlanta next year, i’m not so sure. Sting badly needs a bit of time off to rehab this injury, remember this has been ongoing since early this year and Sting has been wrestling hurt since the Sacrifice PPV in May this year.

Personally i’d like to see Sting take some time off and return next year as the figurative “Angel of Justice” to lead a TNA fightback against Team Hogan and ultimately convince AJ Styles of his true worth to TNA and have him break the link with Ric Flair. Whether that’s the kind of thing TNA have planned remains to be seen.
