EV2 wrestler gone from TNA after Turning Point?

According to the PWTorch, Sabu has been told by TNA he won’t be used following the Turning Point PPV this Sunday.

Sabu is scheduled to be part of the Fortune vs. EV2 multiple-man tag match at the PPV. The match contains a stipulation that the winning team will “fire” a member of the other team in the storyline, but the fictional “firing” and Sabu’s release could be separate, especially with prior reports that Rhino is also set to finish up his TNA contract at Turning Point aswell.

Sabu re-joined TNA at the Hardcore Justice PPV in August and has worked select TV and PPV dates since then. Many of the “ECW wrestlers” who worked for TNA this summer were given an opportunity to remain on the roster.

TNA told Sabu they do not have creative plans for him beyond the Turning Point PPV. Friends say Sabu is disappointed he won’t be retained.

Last month at the Bound for Glory PPV, the original plan was to blow off the EV2 vs. Fortune feud. EV2 was booked to win the match, which extended the feud another month to the Turning Point PPV this Sunday.
