TNA Epics - “Best of Six Sides of Steel“

TNA Epics Report – Friday 19/11/2010

By Raymond Mullan

Episode 2 – “Best of the X-Division Championship Matches vol. 1“

Aired Friday 19/11/2010 @ 11pm on Extreme Sports Channel

Hosted By: Mick Foley

We open once again with the TNA Epics Intro and then cut to Mick Foley (clad in Destination X T-Shirt) in the studio. Mick informs us that in this episode they went deep, deep, deep into the TNA Library so that they could bring us a death defying look at the TNA X-Division Title Matches. Mick tells us to fasten our seatbelts as we go on the ride of our lives!

Highlights from the First-ever X Division Championship Match: As AJ Styles defeats Psicosis, Low-Ki and Jerry Lynn in a Four Way Double Elimination match from the second ever NWA-TNA Weekly PPV on June 26, 2002.

Back from commercial and we join Mick in the studio. Mick says the highflying, no limits X-Division took wrestling to another level. Names like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and Shark Boy…..well maybe not so much Shark Boy! have made everyone sit up and take notice.

Up next in this weeks Epics Main Event, one of the greatest matches in TNA history (in my own opinion it’s THEE best without doubt!) as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels do battle!

Highlights as AJ Styles defeats Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe for the Title in a three way match from TNA Unbreakable 2005.

With that we close out the show. Another solid show, looking forward already to next friday when we should be treated to the Best of Slammiversary and the Best of the King of the Mountain Ladder matches!
