TNA UK News & Rumors Roundup

– Raven has been removed from the TNAwrestling.com roster page. So it appears his on screen “firing” is a legitimate parting of ways. Is this the last time we see Raven on national television? A sad way to go out if so!

– Unless plans change in the next two weeks, I am told that two matches that will be added to the Final Resolution PPV are Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon and Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James vs. Tara vs. Sarita in a four way match for the Knockouts Championship.

– PWInsider.com is reporting that TNA called Hernandez and asked him to be at the last set of tapings but he declined saying he is enjoying working in Triple A right now. Hernandez’s TNA contract expires next year and the feeling is that it may not be renewed.

– Tara’s new TNA gimmick is that she is a cougar who goes after all the younger talent.

– As mentioned on iMPACT! Thursday, Chris Sabin and Velvet Sky are now a couple both in storyline and real life.

– There has been talk of dropping the Knockouts Tag Team Titles.

– TNA is currently working on a new Sting DVD that will be a 2 or 3 disc set for 2011.

– TNA is encouraging its wrestlers to keep up kayfabe over Twitter, although nothing is being done to those who don’t.

– As you already know, T.J. Perkins (AKA Puma) is working three dates for TNA in January. All I know is that he will be working with the X Division in some capacity, and that if he does well on those three dates there is a very strong possibility he will be hired. Perkins has worked for TNA before as Puma and was well-liked for his talent.

– It’s being reported that some top TNA names are to be used at the 2011 January 4 Dome Show, a New Japan Pro-Wrestling event that will feature talent from both TNA and CMLL. The names in connection with this event were the Motor City Machine Guns, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, and Kurt Angle, so it is likely that all of them, and possibly even more TNA talents, will appear at the dome show.
