TNA wrestler Mick Foley says he does not plan to renew his TNA contract when it comes due in “eight or nine months.” In an interview on GeekWeek.com yesterday, Foley also expressed frustration with the structure of TNA leading to poor communication.

Foley cited TNA not airing footage of his recent appearance at Jon Stewart’s Comedy Central rally. “I’ve been beating myself up and it’s frustrating because I can’t seem to get the decision makers in TNA to realize that it is a big deal to show me in front of 250,000 fans at the Jon Stewart rally and to show the reaction of the crowd,” Foley said.

Foley compared the TNA structure to WCW where he’s not sure who to talk to when looking for answers. Former TNA wrestler Homicide expressed similar frustrations when he was with the company prior to his release.

“With WWE, we knew that’s who you talk to, and so it’s very frustrating. I will eventually throw up my hands and just say, ‘Okay, I’ll walk to the mailbox every two weeks.’ I’ll do that or I’ll go on the show and do something I don’t believe in,” he said.

Foley suggested his in-ring wrestling days are limited. His two reasons were because of the physical toll on his body and because it’s “not worth a tenth of a ratings point.” His second comment came across like a dig at TNA’s booking for not effectively hyping his matches when they rarely occur.

On his recent U.K. book tour, Foley said in interviews that he would like to see more wrestling on TNA Impact. He singled that out as his main complaint about TNA’s TV product in the GeekWeek interview.
