Jeff Hardy: TNA Pushing him to enter Rehab

– TNA is strongly pushing Jeff Hardy to attend rehab.

– As noted before, TNA officials have been discussing re-branding the company.
There has been talk about doing a new branding campaign which will focus more on the word “impact.”

This doesn’t necessarily mean they will be changing their name but they will be pushing the “impact” brand of the show harder and will have a bit of a different look for TV.

TNA changing their name has been discussed for months but Dixie Carter has always been against it because they have spent so many years marketing the name.

I would love to know what “strongly pushing” means. Unless that means do it or you’re fired it isn’t strong enough.

I am not sure what in the blue hell they mean by re-branding but as far as the name change goes as much as I hate the name of the company they had chances to change it and it is too late to do that now.

I understand what you mean QJT but they can’t force a guy to do something he dosen’t want (or feel he dosen’t need) to do.

Go back and rewatch Hardy’s WWE DVD. He states about his return to WWE that they asked him if he was clean and tried to force rehab in there as a condition for a comeback, when they did that Hardy said “No, if that’s the way it’s going to be then i’ll go back and re-sign with TNA.” WWE then removed the condition and brought Hardy back. I can’t see what will be different here, WWE are willing to turn a blind eye and take Hardy back, and why not, he’s money! But TNA cannot afford to lose him, so i don’t expect Hardy to bend to any demands.

At the end of the day i could care less what the guy does outside the ring as long as he’s professional INSIDE. So far there’s only been one incident were that occurred (Victory Road) and he’s been buried on TV, removed from Programming, live events and personal appearances and even removed from the opening intro’s of iMPACT! and Xplosion. That’s enough, draw a line under it, take him back and give him a second chance.

LOL. wonder if they’ve considered “world championship wrestling?”

Seriously though, agreed Hardy will only clean himself up if he wants to. It’s a shame and a tragic waste of a talent if he doesn’t but at the end of the day it’s his decision and nobody else’s. If they do allow him back then they must make it clear it’s a last chance… he can’t be turning up unfit to perform and if they let him off TOO lightly he’ll just think he can get away with it. I wonder if the way Victory Road turned out was deliberate on managements part to embarrass him. Surely that can’t be their plan, granted Hardy’s condition was self inflicted but what if he’d fallen down the stairs? got run over by a coach? I can’t believe they don’t have a back-up if the main event is compromised in some way.
