The UK TV Ratings are in for the week ending 10th April 2011 and for the 5th time this year TNA iMPACT! on Challenge once again the UK’s top rated Wrestling program, outdrawing both WWE’s flagship RAW and Smackdown programming.

According to the Broadcasters Audience Research Board – TNA iMPACT! ranked 2nd overall in the top 10 programmes on Challenge, drawing a superb 174,000 viewers, for the Tuesday 5th April “R-V-Damned” episode featuring a Sting, Rob Van Dam & Mr. Anderson vs. Abyss, Matt Hardy & Bully Ray Cage Match Main Event which saw the return of the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels.

TNA Xplosion ranked outside the top 10, drawing somewhere under 110,000 viewers and as such i’m unable to provide an accurate figure for the program.

WWE’s post-Wrestlemania Raw, featuring a Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus US Title main event aswell as a Rock/John Cena closing segment to setup their match at next years Wrestlemania posted 119,000 viewers, a drop of 58,000 from last weeks episode.  Smackdown however bounced back from last weeks weak showing, drawing 160,000 viewers for the friday 8th episode featuring an Alberto Del Rio vs. Christian Cage Main Event.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony drew 50,000 viewers on Sky Sports 3, whilst WWE’s syndicated programme “Bottom Line” drew 39,000 viewiers for it’s friday night airing. WWE’s other syndicated programs “Afterburn” and “This Week in WWE” drew 25,000 viewers and 23,000 viewers respectively on Sky Sports 4.

    This is great news. TNA beating WWE again! We in this country deserve a treat. I think we deserve a TNA PPV here in the UK. Me and my brother went to 2 house shows and the crowd were magnificent. We could easily outshine that pathetic lockdown 2011 crowd. Keep it up TNA. The UK salutes you.
