TNA Wrestling on Challenge

The UK TV Ratings are in for the week ending 17th April 2011 and it’s more good news as TNA iMPACT! on Challenge continues to be the top rated wrestling program on UK television, winning for the second consecutive week and 6th time overall this year. Not only that but this weeks episode was the highest rated episode of iMPACT! EVER on UK television!

RVD vs. Mr. Anderson: Good bout, forgotten during Wrestlemania Hype

Mr. Anderson's offer from Immortal: Storyline had viewers hooked.

According to the Broadcasters Audience Research Board – TNA iMPACT! scored a superb 192,000 viewers (up a whopping 67,000 on last week), for the Tuesday 12th April Rise of the Fallen Angel” episode featuring a Rob Van Dam vs. Sting main event match with Mr. Anderson serving as guest referee.

The episode saw Mr. Anderson seemingly join Hulk Hogan’s Immortal group only for him to swerve them with a beat down and declare that Hogan was next as the show went to a close with Hogan vowing revenge for the double-cross.

TNA Xplosion ranked outside the top 10 highest rated programs on Challenge TV and thus i’m unable to confirm the exact viewing figures for the episode. However the lowest ranked of the top 10 was 117,000 viewers and thus Xplosion falls somewhere below that figure.

Here is the Top 10 ranked programs on Challenge for the week:

Hi Ray, can you tell me how RAW and iMPACT do with regards to viewership on their repeat shows (i.e. Thursday RAW, Sat iMPACT) ?

    Thanks 🙂

    • Ray Mullan says:

Hey Jay, the replays never really draw very well. For this week the only RAW replay i see ranked is on Sky Sports 2 and drew 58,000. The iMPACT! saturday replay didn’t rank in top 10 so unable to provide you with an accurate figure but it would have been somewhere under 117,000.

Thanks mate. could u hazard a ballpark figure for iMPACT replay viewers, like 50,000? more, less? if not please post if u come across those figures 🙂 thanks!
